Default GasGas vs Banshee vs YFZ vs Quadzilla

What do u gyes think about the gasgas 300. I hear good things about them but i also here the downsides. How would one hold up in the dunes vs banshee or quadzilla or yfz?I no that thay are faster on track and trails compaired to the banshee and lt 500. Im looking in to getting a new bike in a month or so it will eather be a lt 500 gasgas or a race reddy 250r. My brother wants me mto get a yfz but that probaly wont happen.

IMO get the 250R. They are proven quads. They are reliable and they set the standard for handling. Plus there is a HUGE aftermarket for them. Parts will not be a problem any time soon. From what I've read the Gas Gas has harsh suspension even though the shocks are Ohlins. Plus Gas Gas's are not all that big in the US so finding a dealer for parts and repairs may not be as easy finding a dealer for one of the big four manufacturers. I'm not sure about the reliability, but the engine looks like a second rate company produced it. That's unsettling to me. Then there's the fact that they are expensive. As for the LT500, it's hard to find parts for them so that would be a big downfall with that quad.

I've had no issues finding all of the parts that I need for my Lt500. The factory still has frames and just about every oher part you may need

HAHA ya right ill never get one of those thumpers. I conciterd a 250r but im really thinking about a quadzilla i rode my buddys the other day and it was sweet. All it had was like a full fmf. You would think that the shocks would be the last thing that you would worry about on gasgas. Or another banshee isnt out of the question.

doesnt the gasgas cost like 8k or something. so if you compare them for price. i'd say the banshee is the best bang for the buck

Id get the gas-gas. I know most of the people here probably havent had the oportunity to ride one but take it from someone thats buzzed around on one theyre quick maybe not as fast on top as a banshee or a quadzilla but i know theyre a hell of a lot more dependable then the 500. Its right up there with the 250r most of the racers just tune their shocks and go race with it and do really good around here unless theyre pro or really really serious racers. Id definetly see if you could ride one at a dealer or something and at least test it theyre very durable nice quads buit very pricey.

I have ridden a Gas Gas, the shocks are no where Harsh as someone said, the handling is very good and i compare it as good as the 250r.... Engine is very reliable and starts on a dime.

Its a very nice, powerful and fast quad, i'd take it over a banshee or thumper any day.

Its also race ready unlike every other quad out there where you have to upgrade shocks, chassis etc etc... Hell the Chromoly Chassis, hydraulic clutch, Nerf Bars and EFI alone makes it a good price, considering you would have to pay anywhere from 1900-2500 bucks for a chromoly chassis for another quad.

Its hands down a Very Very good deal for an Excellent quad.

gas gas is ugly, its a very stupid name, and it is pretty heavy for alittle 295cc bike, and geometery isnt the greatest, id get a 250r over that anyday and mod the shit out of it for that absurd price . if i was concerened about smoking machines i n a drag race id get a yamaha banshee
