Gas Gas 300 shock set up

Just wonderin if anyone knows the best suspension set up for the onlins shocks on the gas gas 300 wild 2002 model. I race on rough tracks mainly with big jumps.

Clark at Noleen Suppension revalved mine, night and day difference. He knows his stuff, fair pricing. As far as setting up the stock stuff you could try backing the spring tention off completely. try about 12 out on comp and 16 on rebound. Adjusting softer (out on comp) and quicker (out on rebound). the top bolt on the Ohlins is for hardness and the bottom is rebound.

ya the stock valveing is kinda ruff, i race my gas gas hard, and it hirts, and tiers you out fast campared to my R with triple rate ELKAs. if you think the steering is to tight, its because the top clamp is to tight. i spaced mine apart with sum 5/16 washers. it was a night and day difference. good luck with the GG
