Hey Saul speaking of 4mm set-ups I see you have a Hot rods 4mm. How is that and where did you get it?

Yeah I'm working on the suspension but I got to get a motor in this thing. The right motor though. Are the Cheetahs cooler than a cool head?

Yeah, reread my last post I had a size wrong for sure and I dont know if they do have a 72mm for sure. It might just be the T-rex. But with a 4mm crank 68mm is a 421, 72mm is 472, 74.5 is 505. Ok I just did some reading and I think they had a 68mm, 74 or 74.5, and now a 78mm. They have the 68 and 74 with cast or bolt on flanges and the 68mm has small exhaust port tunnels while the 74 has large. The 68mm 421 would probably work real nice. I have ridden one of my friends that made 99hp on methanol. Had some real nuts to it too.

PS is planetsand. Try cpindinc.com

Is there any specific reason to go with the 421cc instead of 505cc or is that just a simple "505cc is useless" answer. Someone told me trex was no good.

No reason, if bigger is better for you then go for it. The Cheetah setup does cost a lot of money, its a complete setup though. The T-rex is ok, its just about 5 years behind the Cheetah's from a design standpoint.

Behind in design meaning its intake and exhaust flow? Cuz thats what the cheetah has going for it right? The cub has some type of triple intake? But I'm guessing the cheetahs design is still better?

Same design basically on a bigger scale, TRX reed cages. Bigger bores and more flow potential. The hill and PV's are the advantages of the Cheetah over the cub.

yeha cheetahs make more torque and provide the broader powerband that youd be wanting for a desert bike ,most guys i know wit h421 cubs will vouche the lowend is alot to be desired but this engine combo was designed wit ha different purpose . the trex can ru nreally good but requires tons of work to be compoetative with the cheetahs . k&T is known for their trex cylinders ,alot of peeps say they have to run extrme port timing(205 ex) to run to their maximum potential

Does the torque increase on the cheetah with higher cc's For ex. the 472cc would have more torque than the 421cc?
