take it to a shop or not?

i jsut picked up a 88 lt250r outta the paper for 300 bucks. the guy said it needed a top end cause his son ran it on BREAK IN none the less without mixin any oil in the gas.

i took the jug off and see that the sleeve is cracked. ive never done a sleeve is it somehting i can do on my own or somethin i need to have a shop do? any reply appreciated

i dono ive never had to resleve i would think that you would unless you have the proper tools to do it

take it to a shop to get it resleeved, and then do the rest yourself

post how much it was to do this cuz im thinking of resleving one of my lts...thanks

Anyone have a rough estimate of how much it shoudl cost for the resleeve? and also im lookin at gettin er ported. anyplace u recommend to do that also?
