Default guys a dumbass

well bopys i bought an 87 lt250r bout a week ago the guy told me it needed to be resleeved cause his son ran it without mixin the gas and cracked it. first off when i got it the cylindeer u could tell hadnt been off in a looooong time. i took it off and there was not one crack in it the cross hatchin was still there for dhrist sakes. he just fried a hole in the piston. so i p0ut a piston kit in er and honed er n she fird right up n runs great. needless to say its funny how people assume things without even really checking into them

Yeah... like I assumed this thread would be good... and then I checked into it and it sucked!!!

hahaha... just playin' bro... I scored one of my parts blasters that way. Same kinda story... dude thought it was something majorly wrong so he sold it to me for $50 because it wouldn't start and the frame was kinda tweaked up front (the usual blaster front end bend). Fresh top end and it turned into a swell spare engine and a ton of excellent parts.

you may want to look into why it burned a hole in the piston... thats NOT normal wear and tear...... you have a major AIR leak somewhere would be my guess.. and beign that is a suzuki..... look at two places..... base gaskets and stator side crank seal.......

I say air leak also. I burnt holes in both pistons of a snowmobile I had. Primer lines were dry rotted and was sucking air there.
