| For a chrome frame your looking at around $250-$300 per our guy locally in michigan...For a powder coat frame your looking at around $100....I would personally go with the powdercoat it's alot more durable and you wont have to polish a huge chrome frame...that would take hours I'm sure...But if you got the time a chrome frame would look trick... |

| They have a powder coat out now that is very close to chrome but you don't have the hassel of it rusting. Having a frame chromed to me seemes like a bad idea, you have to polish it and there are a lot of very tough places to reach even if you remove your plastic. Who wants to go through all that hassel every time you go riding? The worst part of ether choice is you have to strip the frame of its original powder coat and its a tough job. If you have the poder coaters (or chromers) do it you are going to pay some big bucks. If you use the fake chrome powder coat you can have them anodize it with another color and its is really sharp. |

| Ok thanks for the help but i never said anything about a frame. I know not to chrome things now but on an engine do they make powdercoats that can withstand that heat?

| They do but the powdercoater has to know to spray it with something first I can't remember what it is called. Chroming an engine keeps the heat in the motor and can cause issues that is why you only see drag racers chroming motor's. Powdercoate chrome doesn't look that good to me, I think there are lots of colors out there that are way better than PC Chrome
