Hot Start Lever????

i had a hard time learning to start my 500. it was a bitch to start. its easy for me now

i tried to start an atk 700 and it was hard as a bitch....i was told if i could start it i could ride it...not even close.

Most of those big bores if you hold on the kill switch and then choke it and do 5 or so slow priming kicks, rock it back and forth, do a few more then Kick it like a dog <hehe> it will start.

i just get on mine, choke it when cold, find the spot give it a hard kick and it always fires first or second kick.

Yeah, i find kicking it then kicking it again immediately if it doesnt start to work 95% of the time.

How tall are you and how much do you weigh?

im 5'11 and i weigh 185. i sit on the bike when i start it though.

im 6'3 and 250 and i have to lean those to the side and kick it to get enough leverage on it.

I prefer to stand on something next to one then kick it to make it work right.

Ive only started one like 10x though, i guess if you own one you will eventually be able to start it no problem

key word is eventually... it took me lots of practice to learn how to start it. i got my bike around a year and a half it took me about six months of having it to really get my starting drill down. you just have to get the piston at the right spot give it a quick hard kick and it will start really easily.
