Dry Wash N Guard has the single best product out there. It's called, quite simply, Metal Polish and works like no other product.
But nothing is going to look polished without good old fashioned elbow grease. Get some buffing tools, wheels/buffs/compounds/ect, and start buffing. That'll remove a lot of the brushed look. Then a good creme such as Metal Polish and some light pressure buffing will bring out a decent shine.
You can get the same wheels and compounds Caswell sells at Home Depot for about the same price but without the wait.
