mods for my banshee...

hey i just bought a 04 banshee all its got is pro circit pipes and k&n air filter for upgrades the rest is stock
my question is whats some cheap upgrades that could speed it up a little?

Well depending if you want top speed or power you can play with the sprocket sizes... Banshees have allot more power when you have put pipes on them. My 1st gear was usless becuas it was so low, so i added a bigger sprocket and got my top speed up near 90... This might be a $25 upgrade, i think its well worth it...Also you can get a boost bottle which basicaly links the 2 exhast,, provides you with low end response. They run about $30..... Thats about it unless you get into boring, porting, polishing and all that mumbo-jumbo.............. Also, do you have pro-cicuit pipes too or just silencers?... pipes would be like headers.... And has it been rejeted for the pipes?

cool head with 18cc domes running race fuel....advace timing plate.....v3 reeds..ditch the PC pipes and buy a set of toomey t5's...K&N clamp on filters....that should get u started

If I recall correctly he said cheap mods....for 50 bucks you can get your flywheel lightened and that'll make it rev way quicker and get you into the powerband faster.

Deff. reeds and a cool head. A set of Pro Lite pistons is a good idea too. The boost bottle really doesn't do shit so save the money. Get a timing plate and go +4 degrees. Do not get the degree key, it will only shear. You can get a plate for $35.00.
