Default 125 fouling plugs

My 125 is going through plugs like candy. Right now I'm running MC1 to a 42:1 ratio. I know I'm supposed to be running 32:1, but that is with Yamalube. The guys at the shop said run 50:1 with the MC1. So I chose sort of a medium. I'm getting ready to leave on a bike trip and need help. Anywho, my bike is fouling plugs like crazy. On the road trip I was going to drain the tank and put in 32:1 with Yamalube. My question is if that isn't it what could it be? The only thing that I think would maybe be a offset float. Thank You

When was the last time you repacked your silencer?? I had this same problem. If there is too much back pressure the motor does get rid of everything it should and that could cause some extra crud build up. Other than that you have basicaly gone through everything I have thought of..... hope this helps!

jetting could be too rich....the silencer packing could be an issue...try dropping the main jet just one size...see if it helps...

when you run less oil it makes the motor run rich. less oil meens more gas. thats how you do little jetting changes vary quick. jet the carb for your oil mix. i would recomend 40;1 with klotz R50 o ya when it gets pluged up hold it wide open to it cleens up
just my .02

muffler packing can cause plugs to go? If there is too much packing or not enough?

the muffler packing gets really dirty after a while and starts plugging up your exhaust. which makes it not get full power and makes it bog down which ultimately fouls plugs.... its not the amount of packing its when it gets dirty from the oil.....

i suggest klotz hands down over MC-1. give your carbs a good cleaning and make sure your giving some wide open time periodically to clean it out. what size plug are you using?
