I have a 97 banshee that I bought recently. I did all the basic routine stuff to it. Bearings brakes ect. I took it out for its first trail ride, apart from the racing in the yard and the track. I rode for about 2 hours and it ran fine. Then out of no where it died. I started it up and it was only running on one cylinder. Note that it was wet when I was riding. Yet when I got home and put a shot of gas in both cylinders they would run fine until the cylinder had to rely on the carb for fuel then it went back to running on one cylinder. Also 115 pounds of pressure in both cylinders.

Sounds like you need to take the one carb apart and spray it down really good with brake clean and check the jets and make sure nothing is clogged anywhere...Also check the fuel line for clogs and replace it if needed...

The carbs have been gone through and cleaned and the jets have also been sprayed out. I have replaced the plugs. As far as I know from the previous owner, it has the original top end. I also have removed the T.O.R.S. with the motion pro kit, and that didn't help at all. Is there anything else I can try before going to a mechanic.

Either it's not getting fuel or something is keeping the fuel from burning. I think it's in the carb. A sticking needle maybe not letting fuel in perhaps.

Could also be in your reeds. banshee's are probably the most simple to work on. check and make sure it's getting fuel into the cylinder from the carb. It's between the carbs and the reeds somewhere. Most likely in your carb though. Also, replace your fuel hose where it splits off. You could've gotten some dirt in the gas and it could've clogged up your fuel line.

| i would check the plugs....just to make sure that they are in tight
