ATV Rags Are Depressing

Every damn time I flip through one at the store all you see are 4 strokes. Now, mind you, i'm all for technological advancements (I drag race two very high-tech cars) but geeze, from cover to cover every magazine is YZF450 this, CRF450 that. It's sickening!!

We need a dedicated 2-stroke magazine much like this site. If car companies can have entire magazines dedicated to their own brand name (Muscle Mustang and Fast Ford, GM High-Tech Performance, Mopar Muscle, etc.), then we should be able to have a 2-stroke dedicated magazine!

I completely agree.... I would love to see that. there is no reason we cant have a mag of our own.. there are certainly enough 2 stroke enthusiasts around to make it happen...

Not only that, but there are countless 2-stroke already in use today that can be modded with high-tech performance items. Fuel injection, turbo kits, nitrous kits...these are all available for 2-strokes, especially Banshees. For once I would like to see all these ATV/Dirt bike rags do a build-up of a high-tech 2-stroke Banshee/250R/zilla, etc.

Again, I realize and have come to grips with the fact that 4-strokes are the wave of the future of our sport, but that doesn't mean that technology can't be adapted to 2-strokes. It's the next logical advancement for us ring-ding owners. Hot rodders have adapted current fuel injection and turbo technology to classic muscle cars and the car rags cover these high-tech mods by the dozens in every monthly issue. It's about time the ATV and dirt bike rags do the same!
