actually they can be cleaned and used again, says so on their site. but being so cheap it makes more sense to throw it away after it gets dirty, saves the hassle and the mess of cleaning and oiling.

yes i am very stubborn, and i didn't intend for it to be any argument, although your buddy did by protesting his uni filter is the best filter made. why is it readyracing made preoiled filters when the company started in june of 04, then others follow like twin air and uni. uni didn't offer preoiled filters till this year. says they must be doing something right for others to follow in their foot steps. i didn't say anyone was stupid for running anything in their bikes, i find its quite pathetic people like you and freak would argue with me over a product neither of you ever tried, and suggest is garbage. talk about immature, are we a hypocrite much, might follow your own advice before giving any man. you argued with me over the same petty shit. i didn't say readyfilters were the best made, but they are the best bang for the buck. last i checked alot really liked products like that, as when i first purchased a readyfilter i was kinda skeptical on this filter is probably shit, but hey its cheap and running a new air filter is better than an old dirty 1. so i opt out and bought 1, i was amazed at how well made for being so cheap, so i pass on my experience for people looking for a cheap solution.

Never once did i say that Twin air was better or the best or that readyfilters where garbage.. but your right i havn't tried it, because i've never had to. i clean it and do proper matinence and it has lasted pretty much close to 7 years... and it's good that people are looking for the cheap solution... i hate being included for just giving out an idea of a air filter to use. i was never saying any airfilter was the best, simply beacuse i havn't tried them all.

Alright guys.... seriously... it's a damn air filter!!! Everybody take a step back... take a deep breath...

All of you guys need to chill... it's just an internet forum.. not the highschool cafeteria.

okay now shake hands and everybody agree that for the most part... a filter is a filter is a filter.

I've used Uni and K&N... they both work great... I just prefer foam instead of cloth. As far as foam filters go.. they're all about the same... so I'm sure the ready filters are comparable to to any of the better known brands.
