Default ripped my damn air filter today :(

I just got my bike last week. No telling if the guy before me cleaned the air filter recently. So i figured i would check the air filter to see if it's dirty. Well i removed one bolt on the number plate to unscrew the wingnut to take it out. Well it came out but i ripped the freakin filter putting it back in. There's a 2 in 1 filter i think. The fine filter under the not fine filter(sry for not correct names) was fine. I dont think it's safe to run my bike with a tear on the first filter so ima park my bike till i get a replacement.

The filter said ibn or someting like that, i totaly forgot. So tomarrow i need to stop at the cycle shop and order myself a new filter. I hope these things arent expensive. I gave up trying to put the filter back on cuz it's so damn hard to do with just the number plate a little off.

ok i feel better now.

so you're telling me that you'd rather give $25 instead of $10 and recieve the same effect? foam is foam i don't give a damn what you say, both are dual stage and will filter the same, only difference is, i'll pocket the $15 i save.

for uni to be the best, i guess these guys and gals running k&n's just fucked up spending all that cash, when they can buy foam, thats a better filter eh?

oh and btw, i could buy 3 ready filters for what people pay for 1 uni, or twin filter, so while you're cleaning your old foam filter and oiling it, i'll be tossing mine and slapping on a brand new filter, enjoying more ride time.
