Damn Tri-z

The tank under the seat is pretty cool. Problem is the fuel pump. Alot of guys had trouble with those. You also have to watch your vaccuum lines. If they come loose or crack, the Z won't run. The under seat tank is unique, but it has its draw backs. A lot of guys like the top mount gravity fed tank because it proven itself to be a reliable design. You also have to use a clamp on filter since you will have to eliminate your stock one if you use the top mount tank.

It is a neat little site. 2Xtreme actually got me over there. Last I heard though, he parted out his Z. I don't what happened. He was posting all kinds of threads there and on 3wheelerworld about his Z. Then it was like the next day, his Z was on ebay in pieces.

i located a zinger tank on ebay... please nobody bid on it.... i really really realy need one.. and i am the high bidder as of right now... now i just need a good top end pipe (perferably inframe) and i'll actaully be able to ride my tri-z... well when i get the 2 years of dust off it and all the tecate 4 parts from all around it.....

i'm thinking that a 87yz250 engine built for a microsprint race car with a top end pipe in a tri-z chassis with a +8.5 swinger outta move rather well.... if not.... then a porting i will go.... more so than whats all ready there....

I have a tank off a Badger 80. I played around with it on mine and if someone could figure a way to mount it up, it would hold more than the Zinger tank. I set it up on mine and the bars or nothing hit. If someone is interested in it, let me know and I will see if I can find it.

i think the zinger tank is pretty niec looking... and mines a dragger really... the +8 arm kinda limits it's trailability.. ya know

got taht zinget tank for a dollar... and $10 shipping... FUCK YEAH!!!! i can throw the fuel pump agains the wall and bash it with a really big hammer now!!!!!

that sounds like what i wanted to do with that carb today.....it started leaking all of a sudden, and wouldnt stop....took it apart damn near 20 times

actaully i have an aftermarket fuel pump on my Z that works pretty good... i'm just glad i dont; have to use it anymore..
