Default Finally got a Shee

After about a year and half of wanting one, I finally bought a banshee. Its a 97 thats in real good shape. The owner bought it in 99 and only rode it once or twice a year since then, so it looks almost new. It's got a new clutch, nerf bars, twist throttle, dynoport two into one exhaust and a dg bumper and grab bar. I can't complain since its in real good shape and I picked it up for $1700. The yellow plastic has to go though, and the one bad thing is that it has no key which is bad because people around here like to jump on quads without asking. I'll get some pics on here once I pick it up on Monday.

about the key problem, get a tether kill switch for it, or a replacement key switch, or both.

I just checked ebay and I can pick up the key and key assembly for about $15. I'll have to put up with it for awhile cause I am flat broke after buying the shee. Now I gotta get the blaster cleaned up and ready to go up for sale.

congradultions yam2stroke, another solution you can move the swicthes on the handlebars to the frame tube thats in front of your engine. thats what the previous owner did with mine when he lived in californa because he didnt have a key and most poeple wouldnt look on the frame for a run swicth just an idea and have fun with that banshee I know I do.

awesome. the shee is my favorite quad of all time.how do you like the sound of the 2-1 pipe.sounds like a indy car on crack.they are great for low end and midrange, but they kill the top-end.

The only thing I don't like about the 2 into 1 is that its pretty quiet, and ya it does seem to kill the top end.

When you get bored with that yellow plastic, PM me. I'm looking for a set to chop up.
