i have never heard of this.....i can see no reason for this....aluminum pipes heat up fast and cool down fast....if your worried about the temperature your bike runs at you can install a pyrometer to monitor the temperature

Sounds worth trying out, I didn' think cooling the pipes would affect your power curve. At first when you said water injection I thought you ment the type of water injection they use on the super smoker pulling tractors. They inject water into the cylinders after a certain rpm to get more power using the resulting steam, but if you have it set up wrong it kills your power.

Are you fucking serious? Hey, erik6767, try brown sugar, it adds 10hp! But it's gotta be brown, not the regular sugar. Try it!

yeah erik i bet brown sugar would push that 700cc bansh to the max....do it....while your at it.....add some octane boost for another 10 ponies.

on a more serious note....water injection sounds cool as hell but a 24% increase sounds like bullshit....if it does really bring it like that i would like to know why it hasn't been expanded on more than this...sounds like a cool set up though if it works...

water injection is cool stuff. people use it on turbochaged engines to help cool the intake charge. as two strokes intake charge comes from the expansion chamber and corresponding sound waves forcing the excess air fuel mixture back up into the cylinder on the compression stroke, i could see how this would help lower overall intake charge and increase power to a point. now an everyday rider would not benifit as much from this mod. race bikes that are at full throttle for long periods of time would see the most from this type of water injection.
