dual or single stage reed, is one better than the other?

i just bought a set of single stage boyseen reeds for a 94 rm125 i'm rebuilding. it had dual stage reeds in it. is one better than the other, and will there be a differance in peformance?

the duals seem to better thottle responce.... but thats IMO
