Default Pismo Beach rust protection?

What are you guys spraying your bikes with to proted from rust? The mist settling at night is the worst on bare metal. I've heard about the WD40 spraydown. Anything else I can work with? Thanks!!

Powdercoat or chrome everything metal on your ride, and you'll never worry about rust again
