Default YZ250 tranny oil ?

So I was changing my tranny oil and noticed that not much came out. On the clutch cover it says 750cc but the weap hole is verry low in the engine and only allows for about 300 cc. Ive allways gone off the weap hole on all my other bikes because not all of the oil drains out and if you put the exact amount it will hold back in then you have too much. So what the hell do I do now?

just throw a quart in there. 250's are fine with it. Not sure why the weep hole is so low, I dont even go off that anymore, i just throw a quart in and no problems.

What year YZ? Regardless of year do not trust the oil check hole. Drain the oil, measure 750cc's in a measurement cup and pour it in. My 06' 250 is the same way.

Forget the oil check hole even exists.
