| So this eliminator 250 has basically a fan and you mounted it on the front of your radiator? correct? |

| Yeah, but reverse the wiring so that the air is blown into the radiator rather than pulling air like it normally does. It doesnt work as great in reverse with the blades being designed to pull air rather than push but it still ran mine cooler than without it. I put my fan on the lower half of the radiator since it's not a good free-flow area. I've never run a coolhead on a zilla so I can't say how great it works. The best cooling I ever got was on an 87 I bought that had no front hood. It never overheated until I bought the hood. But thats no solution, the zilla's one ugly machine without a hood.

| heh the fan idea and a coolhead would probably be really nice then |

| Dig this, I've actually seen a zilla with about 4 feet of twisted-to-fit baseboard heating finned pipe used as inline coolers. It was the ugliest crap I've ever seen but it DID actually work. The guy was so sick of his quad overheating and didnt have the cash to buy the right stuff so he just slapped that stuff in there.

| would air scoops help? i seen air scoops on a couple predator 500's and orther atv's to pull more air into the radiator, but do they make scoops for quadzilla's?

| I've never seen any advertised. I'm in the process of trying to design my own. I made a couple different hood designs but didnt see any cooling temp changes. I'm thinking some small scoops deflecting air either around the motor or into the radiator would work nicely. Ive never overheated in Maine with even a stock set-up but I like the looks of shrouds.

| i have a set of air scoop/schrouds on my 400ex and they seem to help, but i need something to help cool my quadzilla, its overheated on me a couple time's in the two month's ive had it, think im gonna rig up a fan on it, my buddy's got a fan off a newer suzuki eiger that he has laying around, but the only thing im worried about is drawing too much power and frying the wiring or frying the stator
