| I suppose you mean dirtbike so.... And if you know how to shift you have ridden other bikes before... No less then a 125.... In all outright honesty id suggest a 250, some people are going to say im crazy for suggessting this but if your big enough to fit on one then id get that, its a bike you will never outgrow and in 2 more years you will still be able to ride the same bike. Just use throttle control. Roll into the throttle dont jerk it

| I think a 250 might be a little to much for me. I was thinking about getting an 85 but i might think about getting a 125 since you guys think i should get somethin that big. I'm not to tall though, I'm only 5'7 so can u recomend anything 125 wise good for that size. thanks. |

| If you guys are recommending a 250 2-stroke which I assume you are, your nuts! A guy just starting out could hurt himself on something that powerful...Don't even consider it man! If you want a 2-stroke, I would recommend a 125. They are plenty powerful and lighter than a 250. I can do almost everything on a 125 that I can do on a 250 except triples right out of a turn or something. And I don't think your going to be doing that anytime soon. I think that a four stroke is more suitable for a beginner though. Their power is much more manageable and requires less clutch use. Maybe something along the lines of a CRF230. It is air cooled and way less maintenence.

| if you have never ridden a bike or quad before i would say buy an xr 200 and then trade up to a cr 250
