Default changing 2-cycle oils

I'd like to change to another oil that is not $16.75 a qt. But nombody told me that since it has been ran through it, that's what needs to be run in it. Also, do banshees have an oil filter? I know, it's a stupid question. Thanks

no banshee's do not have an oil filter. if they do its news to me.

I switch between premix oils pretty often sometimes. but I always make sure that I use most of the gas before I go puting a different fuel/oil mixture in the tank, cause i've always heard not to mix premix oils together.

Banshee's do not have an oil filter, I would highly recommend a magnetic drain plug though to catch any metal shavings, everytime mine has come out with a bit of shavings on it.

You can switch(Thats a myth like you cant use synthetic in a car then regular and vice versa), but as the above post states, just make sure you use a new batch of gas in the tank..

Thanks. That's a relief. $17 a qt was getting prety expensive. Also, how much oil does the tranny hold? Thanks again

well, it says on the clutch cover by the kickstart shaft 1500ml oil capacity. which is about a quart and a half of oil. I use the honda hp transmission oil in mine, its in a tall red bottle and its pretty cheap compared to some other transmission oils.

and I've also heard of some people even putting 2 quarts in it. I think they said it keeps the clutch rod from welding or something like that? but I just put the 1500ml in it.
