Hi guys, ok im gona pick up my first zilla this Sunday. Not only will this be my first quad (I ride 3 Wheelers) but its my first 2 stroke. Pleas let me know wat to look for to make sure I don’t get the raw end of the deal thanks btw the one I bought is at this link

I'm no Zilla expert, but I'd say that's a pretty decent price for that bike.

yeah i would have to say you did good....take a compression tester with you....if it feels tight all around and the compression is good....you scored.....

Looks pretty good but info on title is total B S I have a LT500 R that is 1990 and I have title..Just hope that is only song and dance you are getting in your purchase...And yes I live in Michigan...price is not to bad but there is hardly any aftermarket items along with this purchase I see..

im gona pick it up saturday, and i will check the compression. im reading on here over 100 so thanks on that heads up. now as i said im a idoit on 2 strokes, im reading on here about pre-mix, 32-1, and 40-1, wat do i put in this thing and how do i mix it? and thanks for all your help!

(16'oz's of oil 4 gallons of gas)or 8 oz's of 2 stroke oil and 2 gallons of gas, you put the oil in your gas can before you fill it up with gas. So it mixes right when you fill it up

Depends what Brand of mix you may choose to use I use KLOTZ Ben-oil 1 16oz bottle into a 5gal. can I also use tech plate R 50 from Klotz and use same mix ratio...

ok thanks for your help guys, but im not out of the woods yet! got it today took it for a ride ran shifted fine forget my comp gauge so didnt test that but it fired up in like 2 or 3 kiks got it home fired it up for a run around the yard before parked seemed ok.. however looking it over in the garage i cheked the crank case oil looks kind of milky

Propably for the tranny oil. Im no expert on Zillas but thats my guess.

The block with the window is a site window for the powervalve. I'm not sure what the mily substance would be. If oil gets water in it it turns white, or atleast mine did. You probably wouldnt be able to see it through the oil fill hole though I would think it would have to be drained to see if theres water in the oil. If so then theres a couple things it could be. It might be the water pump seal. I would drain the oil and check it tho before you worry to much.
