Default roost boost

im kinda new to 2 strokes but i was wiring up a headlight on my zilla and under my plastic on my frame was a little box that said roost boost on it, what does it do? does it give it a better spark like a msd ignition? or is it for something else, i feel kinda stupid for askin you guys this but im curious lol

Stupid is wondering and NOT asking. A roost boost is "supposed" to increase the spark energy and hence increase the torque of the engine. I've personally never noticed any gain from them on any machine.
