stroker kit

i'm having transmission problems so i've got to go into my 500 zilla. so i was thinking of putting a stroker kit in. ? is who to call for the stroker kit, and i've already called trinity and they said they didn't do stroker engines for the 500.

Good luck. My Zilla was already stroked when I got it but the guy had damaged the plate. I looked around forever until I just finally paid to have a local machine shop make me one. When I damaged the right crank-half, I again looked all over for a place that could replace it. Finally, I gave up and replaced the crank and top end with a stock set-up. I never did find any place that sold the stroker cranks or kits.

I also found a long-rod crank from a shop in Mass. With the same problems locating a piston for it I just dumped it on eBay.

You're lucky Trinity doesn't make a kit. They're just too expensive. If I where you I would look to gain HP and performance elswhere.

i had seen a zilla in the letters section of dirt wheels once and the dude said he had a 585 stroker in it. so i guess they make one somewhere, just don't know where. what about ***.

It may cost you nearly repeat nearly a couple grand to get one stroked but they are like time bombs when you get one stroked buy a case of pistons to go with it ya only get about 6 hard quarter mile passes and maybe 1.5 day's ridding out of one...next thing to buy is engine cases cuz ya gonna need one or 2 of them...I was gonna have my builder whip one up for me and he said he'd do it but for me to never run it around him because it will go off..He had built a few of them back in the late 80's and a couple 1990 models and they just were not reliable AT all but they did fly though clocked at 112mph and one went with the 600cc up to 128 on radar gun with 14/38 gear ratio...Not much room for bottle help either they tried that and barely made it through 1/4mile..
