| i just bought a blaster and this thing was torn completly apart. any way it came with a reed spacer and i have no idea which side of the cage it goes on. if anyone could help me it would be appreciated. thank you |

| It can go on either side of the reed cage.......kinda up in the air as to if they make any difference.......like a boost bottle

| Ok, here's the way I'm thinking. The whole purpose of a reed spacer is to increase the speed of the fuel entering the cylinder. So if you put the spacer behind the reed cage, the fuel starts to speed up but is slowed down by the reeds. If you put the spacer in front of the spacer, the fuel goes through the reeds and then speeds up through the spacer. I think there is a right and wrong way of installing the spacer. Maybe that's why there are mixed opinions to wether or not they actually work. This is only my opinion. I don't know for certain.
