AMA Rule changes for Amateur class, 2 strokes back on the rise?

It may be unfair...or is it? Come on we've all told our 4 poke riding buddys "a YZ250 will kill a YZ250f anyday" but for some reason they wont beilive you. Id be sweet if they let CR500s or KX500s run against the all mighty CRF450. You bet your ass RC would be on a two stroke in a heartbeat.

I ride with z400, 400ex, 450r and 450 quadracers.....but im definently not the fastest! But my ride sounds the best and it didnt cost like $6000

its the same way where i ride, ppl like look DOWN on 2 stroke riders, like were riding outdated , subpar, outdated peices of shit,,, they are like their own little group, 4 strokers, its funny, they are all a certain way, generally ppl who ride 2 strokes are more balls to the wall and 4 strokes are more like the guy in the 3 series convertible with an automatic and a bitch ridin shotgun, they wana look cool, but dont know whats really fast

man if they brought out a 2008 banshee with updated chassis/suspension/motor ect.... i think every quad company would just have to hault production on their quads, cause there wouldnt be a dam thing to touch it, even as is in origonal form from 1987 minuus the j arms, i embaras my friends on their $8000-9000 450s' on a daily basis, the banshee will never die, they might stop makin it, but theres no way ppl will let it die,

Hate to burst your bubble folks, but no where on the AMA ameture site does it say anything about a change in the rules for CC or 2-stroke/4-stroke restrictions. Unfortunately, it looks like just another rumor. Hopefully there is some glimmer of hope, its nice to think that anyway.

I must be the only one here who rides with 4 strokers that dont talk shit to me. The guys i ride with never talk smack about how their is better. We just ride for the fun of it

On another note, im seriously thinking about getting a banshee next summer. It would be nice to have my dad or g/f come ride with me.
