| Just installed a Wiseco piston on my RMX250. Was wondering if anyone could tell me how to properly break it in. |

| I usually run a whole tank through at idle. Waiting till its nice and warm and shutting it down and the restart when its cool to the touch and repeat

| I don't like letting idle more than normal since no air is flowin over the radiator to cool things off. Warm it up a little. Ride it varying the thottle position for 5 minutes. Let cool completely. Ride 10 min. Cool and retorque. Just take it easy. 32:1 petroleum based oil. Everybody has there own way for sure but I think the compression test would probably be best. |
