 ESR310 Just finished, couple questions
Hey, i'm new to these forums and ride an 86 ATC250R that I recently installed an ESR310 TRX9 ported cylinder on. The bike has a PT High Rev pipe and silencer, 38mm A/S and Pyramid Reed Cage. It's not quite as fast as I hoped and I'm looking for answers. What kind of jetting do you other 310R owners use with similar carbs?? I have a 185 in there now, and although the plug chop looked alright, other 310 owners are telling me that 185 sounds awfully rich. I'm only beating my fathers Piped and Jetted 'Shee by a couple quad lengths in a drag, and before the 310, he only was getting me by maybe a length or two tops. I will say that the stock gearing is probably really hurting me because the 1st 3 gears are where I struggle the most and after that the motor turns 4th 5th and 6th as if it were 2nd 3rd and 4th. Anyway, any help would be great, jetting numbers I know are specific to each bike but I'd still like to hear your guys' setups and I look forward to bein a member here. |
