| twist throttles are all a matter of preferance. i rode dirt bikes for 15 years befor i bought my banshee. i rode the shee one time with the thumb throttle and replaced it with a motion pro twistie and i love it. $41.99 at www.rockymountainatv.com but your also gonna need the idle kit (eliminates the tors system on stock carbs if you still have them). i think it is a great upgrade if you are acustom to riding with a twistie. i think it offers more throttle control than with a thumb, but again its a preferance thing.

| Well, I'm just going to be flat-out honest here. The twist throttle on my Zilla has the tendency to get me in trouble. I've rode several quads, some pretty damn fast, with your regular thumb throttle and have never had a prob. The twistie on my Zilla is great when I'm drag racing on the road or on a fairly smooth, straight surface. When I get into the rough stuff and get bounced around a little, I find myself "holding on" and cracking back the throttle by accident. NOT GOOD ON A QUADZILLA. I have literally fought to hold on. I know that I'm not used to it, but I'm also not sure if I want to be. Going back to thumb.

| My friend with the white and red banshee in my pics has one. We swap every now and then and I can't do anything with it. When he put it on he was dissappointed with it and almost took it right off. He left it on for awhile and now he's used to it. I tried to jump with it a few times but it's just so weird to me.

| i have found that twisties are only good for staright line racing, other than that they suck bigtime evn if your used to it.espesially for wheelys or very rocky terrain.theres a reason quads come stock with thumb throttles and its not because dirtwheels recommended it

| i rode BIG K's old 200 shee with a twistie for a while. i like twists on a bike but the way you ride a bike adn quad are differnt so on a quad they just suck. a donut is a sucicide move on a quad with a twister. i climbed a fwe hills with that shee adn lemm tell ya i cracked it open at all teh wrong times quite a few times ha ha never crashed though. but my bro did. oh yeah and BIG K broke his collar bone on that thing too |
