Hey i am buying a 1990 YZ250...The engine's in real good shape, new piston rings, not even broken in yet, new race clutch, fmf fatty pipe gold, new tires and rims..I talked to some guys that worked on the motor they said it was in awseom shape..

Im getting it for 1000$ Canadian Dollars. I think it's a good deal, what do u guys think?

He got receipts and everything of all the new parts^


I'm just wandering because 1990 is a ways back.

well $1000 CAN is what here in the states??? bout $600 yeah i guess thas not bad then. i was thinking $1000 US

Haha 1990 is old???? Every vehicle I own is a 1985 or newer, most of what I own are trikes. You gotta trust the classics! I would say $1000 CAN is a pretty good deal, considering its got a buch of new parts. I say go for it!!!!!!!!!

I buy and sell bikes all day long. My opinion would be this....is the plastic at least decent? Does the engine run decent? Is the suspension decent? Tires decent? Seat good? If so, $1000c or $600USA is cheap. I don't pay attention too awful much to reciepts because they could be 2 days old and they don't tell you how hard the bike was ridden and beat on yesterday. Plus.....1990 is old for a computer, real new for a human and just right for a cheap bottle of wine. Who cares the year if it's what you're looking for? EVERYONE would consider an ATC250R made in 1990 SUPER-DUPER new (yeah, I know it doesnt exist) Plus, It's still a very well-supported machine vendor wise.
