power reeds

ok 2nd post , i am installing boyesen power reeds , the instructions show to install " rev-plate" , note at bottom ,and i quote.... "if rev-plates are not provided, install reeds using stock reed stop." the question i have is .... my new reeds came with "rev-plates" , do i not install the stock reed stops ??? or leave them off ????
