weird spark issue please help

i have an 86 250r. i've been having really weird running issues with it. first i was having idle problem took it in and it seemed to fix it, but it usually always started on the 2nd kick. i'm having spark issue. when i ground the plug on motor it sometimes sparks. if i kick it really hard it seems to spark better. sometimes i would kick it over and then all of sudden i would get like one quick spark. electrical stuff drives me crazy. when its running it seems to run great, but it has died on me witout warning a few time. the last time i started it it took about 8 times of fast kicking. oh also i've had some weird shocks were my hand rests against the thumb throttle part. any ideas thanks
