| yes it should be ok i highly dought that an exaust gets that hot expecially at that point in the pipe that goes right where the stringer meets the silencer canister |

| You'll be fine, that will seal well. It doesn't get that hot in that area. I use regular black rtv, works fine for me.

| i use red RTV wherever i need to seal the exhaust.dont know what temp range to stay around though.that should work way back at the silencer though..not possitive. |

| ok cooo, just by chance thats exactly what i bought, black RTV, 650 degrees, ill seal them all up tomarow, it runs great though, im very pleased |
