Rust On Exhaust

Hey, I got this 01 blaster with the Toomey on it. I took it out a few times in the winter threw it in the shed and recently brought it back out. I noticed I am gettting rust on the exhaust. It isnt bad yet it is small spots and it isnt deep at all. I know I could use sand paper to get it off, but what about the chrome? I dont want to sand it down and make it still look bad without the chrome.

so how would I get the chrome back? could I get chrome spray and spray paint it (idk if that would look the same...) or do I send it to someone for $ to spray it?

if you know please help me out with like sites on who or where to go to to get this stuff.

get some of that mothers polish...that should bring it off if it isnt to bad

mothers polish... I never heard of it you got a site for it? yea but if I take it off with that it will show the bare metal what do I do about that then?

like yea it would be better than sanding it down just I need to know about how to get it all chrome again

heres a picture of a FMF fatty i restored for my cousin. A brillo pad, some soap and water then 2000 grit sand paper did the trick. Little to no pressure.
too much pressure will scratch it deep and possible take the chrome with it. Anyways this was covered in rust when i got it, heres what it looks like now(not the best of my work but he wanted it quick.)

lol how do you rechrome it?

hey blue that doesnt look to bad so a brillo pad would work...? I goes ill try a few things different spots its just all about the re chroming it now so any advise on that?

just watch the pressure and go with the flow of the pipe.

https://store.mothers.com/index.php?...........theres the site...IMO that is the best polish u can buy.....ans it'll turn an old dingy pipe...to make it look new...but it will take the rust off....and shine ur crome
