Default ok i have a quick question

my buddy tells me to jack up my suspesion on my kx but im short so its kinda lowered but if i jacked up my suspension would it make it go faster and everything basically would it make it a better bike if i raised it a couple inches or is it just not going to do anyting?

how exactly do u "jack up the suspension"? ask him..?
last time i checked they didnt make lift kits for dirtbikes hahah, does he mean tighten the spring on the shock?

all it will do is tighten up the rear suspension and make it a little tall ther is no gain whatsoever performance wise...if its too stiff all u'll get is a sore ass

haha tell ur buddy hes on crack.. tighting up the suspension wouldnt make it any faster, it makes it stiffer for when u land bigger jumps so it dont spring back up on u, if ur short and dont hit 40ft gaps then dont worry about it, ull have a nicer, softer ride without doing it

how'd ya lower the suspension? drop the forks in the triple tree's?

if you change the fork height it makes you steer more or less sharply. if youre happy with the steering dont mess with the front. and tightening the sag in the back does raise your bike but it gives you too much preload and rebound and youll be bouncing everywhere instead of soaking up the bumps like you should. stiffer suspension also makes you spin out easier. it needs to give to dig in.

and i lowered the rear shock so lower the seat hieght just a lil bit like an inch i think its at normal seat hieght now 37 inchesbut the bike still looks short
