rear tire wont hold air?

on this last ridin trip I went on, I hit a big ass pot hole and it made one of my rear tires go flat about 2 or 3 miles out in the trails away from the truck. I rode the whole way back pretty slow and carefull cause I didnt want to warp my wheel. well the tire ended up coming off the bead on the out side before I got back but it didnt hurt it I dont think. but in some places I really had to gas it to even get through the trail and the flat tire would spin on the rim alot. it was pretty weird cause it would slide sideways with just one tire hookin up.

well when I got home I got the tire aired up and the bead popped back on the rim, but it leaks air all around the outside of the rim where it spun off an stuff. it even leaks with like half a bottle of the green tire slime in it. the only time it holds air is when its got like 25 psi it, which is just not rideable. the tire is just a regular ol' holeshot .

Im just guessing that maybe the tire is messed up from where it spun on the rim so much when I rode it flat and thats why it wont hold air? the tread is wore down quite a bit though anyway, knob is only like 1/4 inch tall. I guess now I got an excuse to get some new tires.

Sounds like it wore some rubber off where it seals to the rim at, ive did that once

yea I guess nows a good a time as ever to get some new tires. I been lookin at a bunch of different ones lately and I kinda got my mind set on some original kenda knarlys. on RMatv they are like right at around $50 and the more I look at em the more I like the tread design and price of em. and Ive heard alot of good reviews about em and people say they are hard to beat for the price.

so I guess some of you all may also know exactly whats coming up...........burn out time!!! gonna put like 30psi of air in em and roast those babies big time before I change em.

if you don't want to buy a new one just have a tube put in it. a tube probaly only cost $10
