HELP ME!!!quick question

ok im leavin tomarow morning early and tryin to get eveything in order so i dont have to work on anything tomarow,, i found a house coming out of the little plastic cover that coveres the water pump(i beleive) and it was just hangin there, the other end wasnt attacthed to anything, so i was lookin through the mess of wires up by the carbs and found 2 wires (1 on each side) leading into like a "T" fitting, and it looks like this tube coming from the plastic case should be hooked to that t fitting, as one side is missing a hose, is this right? the end of the T fitting was all shiny and new lookin, while evything else is dirty so i figured it was right, please let me know ASAP, leaving early tomarow morning for PA, please help
