I'm 6'4" and 210 lbs. Would a 125 have enough power or would a 250 be a better choice? I've always ridden 250's and never ridden a 125.. they just seem like they are too little. Thoughts?

I would go with the 250 because not because of phyisical size of the bike rather the power it puts out would be better for you. Unless you put all performance parts on the 125 (exhaust system, reed block, pro lite piston etc.) or you could get a big bore kit on the 125 and make it a 144 or so. In the long run if you want a bike to pull you along properly the 250 is cheaper.

A 125 is way too small...IMO they are best left for small people and MXers to ride... No bottom-end compared to a 250, and more maintainence...

| get a 250. If you get a 125, youll just want more power after a while.

Excellent everyone... I just needed someone to convince me NOT to make a wrong snap decision... It's hard enought to decide on just a 250.

250 all the way... once u get used to the power, theres not many things that can keep up with you

Going to look at 3 250's tonight... 95 YZ250, 98 CR250, 01 RM250. Prices between 1K - 2K... I wanted to go cheap but then again I don't want to get into a situation where I'm hard-up for parts or have to put lots of labor/aftermarket into it. I hate when I blow my budget... started at $1000... now looking at $2000 and below... Ah... who needs a new mountain bike when I can get a motor.

'01 RM 250's are sweet... probably my favorite 250 out of all that I have ridden...
