| hey i know this stuff is recommmended at 50:1 but is that honestly a safe ratio. i know this oil is good qaulity. im going to be runnin dominator for the first time today and im debating on 40:1 or 50:1 |

| just to be safe, since when you prt, you have less cylinder wall area (slightly) so I didn't want to take any chances. I don't mind rebuilding top ends, I just cant afford it. haha. I figure I'll use a little more oil to be on the safe side

| I ran 50:1 in my banshee for a little while now. I took down the top end last weekend and the pistols/walls etc looked great. 40:1 wont hurt though. Do what you are comfortable with. This is a matter of opinion i think.

| on ported quads the exhuast port is raised and that creates higher cylinder temps... i too run mine at 40:1. plus zillaguy and myself ride alot of dunes where your WOT alot.. i ran mine on 50:1 for a few years and never had an issue... either way is fine... and will work great... i just like the ported engines at 40:1 |

| the dominator oils are made to run at 50:1, our race team runs our bikes at 60:1 with out a problem, and this is at the motocross track, allways high reving and it runs great. then again i run my yz at 40:1.. so....

| 125jens, keep in mind 50:1 is for a properly tuned bike. It's commen sense cuz even with 24:1 u can blow it up if too lean.
