quick question

Ok ill make this quick. one of my buddy's is trying too tell me that u can use mikuni jets in keihin carbs and vive versa. ive never thought of it or tried so is it true. i cant see it being true but i dont know. also do jet kits for certain atvs only work with the stock carb or do they work with all carbs?. thanks

im not 100% sure but i doubt that is true... i just bought some main jets from my shop recently and of course they asked the make and size of carb...

and jet kits that are for a certain quad. as in a raptor 350...im guessing u are asking about... will only fit that make/model/size of carb that is run on the raptor 350.. also jet sizes vary upon carb size, if you have a bigger aftermarket carb, you wont be running the same size main jet you would be running on the smaller stock carb..

Most mikunis use the same jets. Hex jets of course. Keihn jets are longer i beilieve so by swtiching them you would either hit the carbs bowl or have it too short to work properly
