Help with Suzuki 250r '86....please

I have just purchased a 1986 Suzuki 250r the condition is good and it runs great. All of a sudden it will not kickstart for the first run of the day. It pop starts first attempt with no effort then from that point on it will kick 1st kick. The carburator is clean, new wiring to the ignition coil, i cant figure out why can someobdy help please
