k&n airfilter cleaning

i now there's other cheaper ways to clean them and i want to hear them before i spend 11 bucks on a cleaner kit

go to walmart, i get the recharge kits there for liek $8.. the cleaner and oil in the litle box.. k&n recharger kit, same shit they sell at other stores for $12-15... always check wally world, they are the best, the whole kit , both bottles , cost as much there as just a bottle of oil from my quad shop down the road

wal-mart and quit being such a cheap ass. a recharge kit last's for a while so what would you rather, spend a couple extra bucks now or over $200 to redo your top end? i'd say the extra $4 is a small price to pay if you dont have a wal mart near by....

They mean instead of trying some other cleaning method which may cause imperfections in the filter and make it easier for dirt to come through.

I use a K&N on my banshee and clean it regularly with their kit. I have 2 filters so I never have to wait to clean one. I always keep the other one cleaned and oiled in a bag in its original box so I can just to a quick swap.

I'll always use the recharge kit, doesn't cost much so why even venture into other degreasers & oils. Good idea on the back up filter PA Banshee!! I'm going to buy me another set of pods/outerwears. Thanks.

I originally bought the other one just to replace my previous one, but there was nothing wrong with it. I eventually just started swapping them out due to laziness, but it turned out the be a good idea.

well if u have "plenty of money" please, feel free to send me some...
otherwise go to walmart and spend $10 or less on the recharge kit, NEVER buy it from a performance shop, they give it to u stiff and in the ass
