k&n oil substitute

i know there was just a thread like this and eveyrone ripped the guys ass for bein cheap about buyin the real stuff, and i was one of them, hahah but anyway im leavin early in the morning to go riding , sometimes walmart doesnt have the k&n kits but has the fram air kits, which is kinda the seame as k&n filter.. does anyone know if its ok to use that oil on a k&n or anythin else that would work? i thought i had both but went outside and only have cleaner, no dam oil

think about it if it looks the same then its going to work filter oil is filter oil its this some are made cheap

Ahhh just run it without oil ..been doing it for year with great results.....

okay you recently spent like 800 in a - arms and 500+ for pipes and who knows what else and now you want to use generic walmart oil made for cars on your pricey filter .. theres a reason for it Ebenaezer ,....look ,the kits are only like 10$ and about auto store should have them . the actual gauze filter doesnt protect your expensive engine from dirt/debris... it is the synthetic oil suspended in it that does and when yo u use that soupy tar-oil wally world crap your begging for trouble IMO
