| Ok i got this 1990 YZ 250 here..Buddy here wants to trade my 49cc Rossinni pocket bike wich i paid 600$ for( wich been through 1 and 1/2 tanks of gas) plus an additional 600$ cash. Now who here thinks its worth it? This bike has fmf fatty gold series pipe..new bosc(i think) race clutch, tires, rims....few other stuff. He has my pocket bike i have his yz the trade is not final yet (didnt give him 600$)..I got it with the side casing off.. The clutch seems to have a problem with it u can pull it in and it springs back but when its out its not engaging at all..its like its loose...i think its missing a plate how many plates are these clutches suppose to have? Also the shifter is sometimes going through the gears and sometimes not.. Like i brought it to a guy he said this bike here is worth 50 bucks no lie.. 200$ if the back shock was rebuilt( it just springs back up right quick)...But i can live with that..\ But all i see is a few little problems that need to get fixed that clutch and i dont no whats up with the shifter could it just be because the casings off? Like buddy says its worth 1000$ easy thats what i thought but this buddy that knows 2 stroke said its junk and would be a waste of time..Oyea it also has a new piston and rings with only 1 1/2 tanks of gas through them to.. What do u guys think? I dont wanna waste my time and money on junk...I dont know what to do some people tellin me get it others saying its junk?? What ya all think? Heres some pictures of it not to good but its all i got for now |

| i'm tellign you your wastign your time and money buying that old dinosaur of a dirt bike. if it were a 1990 quad i'd say go for it. |

| he better throw in a wheel barrow for all the shit thats goona come along with this bike, early 90s yz s were plagued with bottom end problems also your shock would be expensive to replace and it looks like the machine has had a hard life. maybe worth 400 dollars if it ran excellent, it may need a new clutch basket as well if its acting like its grabbing and letting go quickly id be looking at some kind of other deal if it were me good luck

| I agree with my fellow brothers. STAY AWAY FROM IT. Sell your pocket-whatever outright and just pay cash for a better deal somewhere else. My buddy just bought a 1994 YZ250 in GREAT shape with aftermarket goodies for $1000 cash. He offered to sell it to me for $900 the other day, but I found an even better deal with a Banshee. 1. Sell your pocket toy. 2. Save a little cash. 3. Be patient....you've got all winter unless you live in the south. 4. Buy something you'll be proud of. DO NOT BUY THIS BIKE. YOU WILL PUT WAY MORE IN IT THAN IT WILL EVER BE WORTH. I HATE IT WHEN I FEEL LIKE SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET RIPPED OFF AND THEY DON'T KNOW ANY BETTER.
