no get a new bombardier ds450 or possibly wait for the ktm450 they are 2 of the baddest and sickest quads out there...these guys on here only look at the jap. bikes but either go with the ds450 or the new ktm 450 v-twin when it comes out...i think this summer...make your dad pay for not letting you have a shee...make it worth it...then like that other guy said take good care of the quad and sell it for a shee later...look up the specs and stuff for the bombardier its nuts!

You know your right, I totally forgot about the new ds450, I just saw it in my dirtwheels mag.. Yea if your dad wants to spend on a new bike no matter the pprice get this instead! It's where nicer then the other 450's out I HEAR.. don't take me word though, I'm a 3 wheeler guy, not a quad

I wouldn't mind more lights simply for safety but stock lights work just fine.
I only replaced with Trail Tech's because they were a bday gift.
I dune at night & ride hard, no prob with stock lights.. Should be least of your worries.

the 2 new 450's will probably be in the same power range as the rest of the current ones out now.

Port a shee, pipe it etc and you are pushing way more hp. At the same time, it will be paid off and have costed less than 1/2 the price of a new 450. Mine did!

Also, instead of listening to "hear say" from mags, ima wait till i ride the two new 450's or see one run to make my judgement. I am looking foward to racing one with the "big 3."
