piece of garden hose for frame protect from chain... PVC pipe and ford f150 intake tubes make up my breather system, on my old bike we had carved up hockey pucks for sproket dampers.....

Skateboard wheels for chain rollers.

Snowmobile slider cut to replace chain slider at rear sprocket.

Outer drilled stainless rotor cut and welded to inner part of stock rear rotor for a better upgrade.

Brembo rear caliper on custom mount.

Adapter plates lathe spun to allow use of ATC 11" front rims when I go rock climbing.

R/C electric ducted fan motor for a turbo design. It ended up being of modest value. The work far exceeded the gains.

Tri-Z thermostat assembly for winter riding. Allows the engine to stay at a warmer temp.

Cut the dumbo ears off the Zilla and trimmed a set of Blaster fenders to bolt on. Looks much better to me, though some may differ.

Hand cut titanium pins to replace the needle roller bearings in the rear cushion lever, a VERY common wear-point on the LT500 if not anally maintained.

Pin-and-fold type lock washer made for swingarm nut.

Cut and lengthened steering stem to allow use of MX bike-bend bars.

There are tons of home remedies. While lots of people come up with em to save on some cash, many are actually improvements over the original design. Or, more fitting to the riders specific needs.

i use a FZR1000R clutch in my banshee instead of stock ,i use powerjets in my pwk carbs that i sometimes burn nitro- propane through

well my blaster is a big flange motor (like the DM's) and it uses banshee TZ bearings instead of blaster bearings.
