| Hi, I have a question for you guys that run Amsoil 2-stroke oil in your machines. I usually run Klotz Super Techniplate mixed at 40:1 in my TRX250R. However, I met a guy at work who is an Amsoil dealer. He said the best oil for my application would be the Saber oil mixed at 100:1. I don't have any experience with Amsoil, but I have heard positive things about it. However, that mixture sounds REALLY lean compared to what I am running. What has been your guys' experience with this stuff? By the way, this oil will also be run in my brother's Tecate-4, my cousins' QuadRacer and Quadzilla, and my uncle's Banshee if you guys think it will work. Would this oil mixture work across all 5 machines? Thank you for your time.

| you can use it as a full synthetic at 50:1 100:1 scares me too, however it doesnt have shit in it that conventional oils have, it lubricates more so you can run leaner, in the vehicles you are talking about, i would just run high quality castor 927 at no leaner than 40:1

In my experience the klotz showed alot less carbon build up and lubed the crankshaft better then any oil I've used in the past and that includes amsoil... |

| Me personally, anything past 40:1 scares me in quads and stuff. Even if does do OK for some people, im never going to seize a motor because im running too lean of oil. But, thats just me.

| Why would you switch and take a chance if you have had good luck with the Klotz? You don't make more power but running lean because not only does the oil lubricate but help the rings seal against the cylinder walls and improve compression and combustion.
