I can't view your vid, but I'm guessing its a little play in the splines. Nothing to really worry about, I've seen a lot of quads with it.

They were tight when I loctited them and they aren't loose. Are they supposed to tighten up until they touch the sprocket retainer?
If it is the splines does that mean I need a new axle and sprocket retainer?

Plaulie, check to see if there is slop before it's slid all the way over till it can't go any futher.Like maybe 1/2" before.I had this problem, and it didn't have slop, but when it went all the way till it couldn't go anymore,it became sloppy.I just got a 1/8" washer, and it solved it,couldn't figure out why,but it worked.

had the same problem on my inlaws wheel hub, the splines were worn out, tightned it up and in a few months it was loose again. i took some flashing and put on the hub then drove it on till it was tight that took up the play and it seems to work, its a temp fix, the play is caused from the nuts not being tight against the hub and letting it move. just my .02

run it... but have some new parts on the way soon... it could need both the axle and hub...

Because it alowed fresh splines to contact... temporary fix at best... an 1/8" of splines wont last long

at that point both the splines on the axle and the inside of the hub must be shot, if you replace only 1 of them, its just gona destroy the new splines on either ,in no time since itll still have some play, im sure you know that though, get out the wallet!
